Boston area movies represented the city well taking home four awards.
- Christian Bale won for Best Supporting Actor. Bale was awesome but personally, I was rooting for Jeremy Renner in The Town. Loved The Town for being a true Boston movie.
- Melissa Leo for Best Support Actress in The Fighter
- Aaron Sorkin won for adapted screenplay for The Social Network
- Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter win for Best Editing for The Social Network
