D is for December, Damon!

Happy holidays Damon fanatics! 'Tis the season for hometown heart-throb Matt Damon as he has yet another movie coming out this year. And I know our Boston Movie Tours begin with the Matt Damon Rugby scene on Boston Common from The Departed, but he's at it again!

This time Damon teams up director Clint Eastwood in the upcoming movie called Invictus. The movie chronicles the story of South African President Nelson Mandela and his aims at hosting the Rugby World Cup to arouse patriotism amongst his countrymen. Mandela is played by Morgan Freeman who has actually starred in Boston movies such as Glory, Amistad and Gone Baby Gone.

The movie is slated for release on December 11 and you can watch a youtube trailer by clicking on the movie poster.
